Background

Based in the Rhone-Alps region at the heart of the Plastics Valley (Oyonnax - France), TECMAPLAST is a French industrial company which was set up in 1979. It is specialized in the design engineering and production of technical and aesthetic parts in thermoplastics by injection molding.
TECMAPLAST has developed its expertise in the Automotive, Electrical and Railways sectors.

How the company has evolved

TECMAPLAST is a member of the GIE RONAX, the Ronax economic interest group, a joint purchasing group founded in 1996 which is made up of 20 members and deals in the purchase of up to 100,000 tons of raw materials. It also has a centralized buying office for tooling in China.

TECMAPLAST sought to expand its development in external growth and in 1998 took over the SOMEPA company and in 2007 the COPLIN company.

Within the framework of its internationalization TECMAPLAST set up  TECMAPLAST CZ, in Jicin in the Czech Republic in 2001 through the purchase of an existing company.

TECMAPLAST has developed and invested in further technologies in order to extend its product offer (bi-injection, silicon injection, decoration, painting line).
